The founder and president of Liberia Dujar Association (LDA)-Liberia and member of the Board of Directors of LDA-Sweden, Mrs. Lois Hemgren, has disclosed a plan to erect a national library for Liberian students after completion of negotiations with the Ministry of Education and other relevant authorities.
The former elementary school teacher and employee of the Ministry of Education, Mrs. Hemgren, through whom 16 schools had been established in five counties with a technical college in place, told Daily Observer that the construction of the library is due to lack of a modern national library in Liberia, after the 14 years of civil conflict.
Mrs. Hemgren recently made the assertion in the Conference Room of Liberia Dujar High School in Gardnersville, during a visit by members of the Board of Directors of the Liberia Dujar Association (LDA)-Sweden, Ms. Inga Johansson and Per Hemgren
